The Michael G. Curran Family Foundation expanded its reach to the Tampa Bay, Florida Region in January of 2022 by opening an office and hiring its first full-time Executive Director.  Travis Williams was hired as the Executive Director to expand the mission of the Foundation, “To positively impact the lives of children and young adults” in the Tampa Bay Region while at the same time, supporting the ongoing nonprofit organizations in Wake County, NC.  Travis is also responsible for managing the Foundation Endowment and increasing community engagement.

Travis is a graduate of the University of North Florida where he earned a BS in electrical engineering.  He earned his Professional engineering (PE) licensure in Florida after working in the municipal utility industry for seven years.

Travis spent most of his childhood in Florida and has experienced first-hand the impact of local charities such as foodbanks and clothing donations positively impacting the lives of children.  He believes the generosity of others has helped him find his own success and is driven to help the Foundation support the needs of children and young adults in Wake County, NC and the Tampa Bay Region.

Travis is married to his wife Daniel, and they have two children, Trevor age four and Peyton age two.  Travis enjoys reading and learning, spending time with his family and playing competitive coed flag football with Daniel
