In 2022, the Michael G. Curran Family Foundation (“Foundation”) donated $691,273 to nonprofit organizations in Wake County, NC that were in alignment with the Foundation’s mission, “To positively impact the lives of children and young adults.”  With those donations, the Foundation exceeded the $10 million donation threshold with total donations since inception totaling $10,581,817.

The Foundation was founded on April 11, 2003, with a mission to, “Positively impact the lives of children and young adults” in the Wake County, NC area.  The Foundation is the vision of its founder to turn the principals of business success into the principal of human significance.

Over the last nineteen (19) years, the Foundation supported nonprofit organizations in Wake County, NC that were in alignment with the Foundation’s mission and built the Triangle Aquatic Center, the largest nonprofit public aquatic facility ever built in the country without tax funding.  In 2022, the Foundation expanded its reach to the Tampa Bay Region and is actively developing community outreach to determine the best way to serve this Region in alignment with the Foundation’s mission.
