Several swimmers on the TAC TITANS swim team provided free swim lessons to children in the Cary police department’s Project PHOENIX program. Project PHOENIX is designed to help residents, owners and rental property managers in Cary keep drugs and other illegal activity off their property. Drowning is the second leading cause of accidental death in children 14 and under and the TITANS swimmers in coordination with the Cary police department volunteer their time to help drown proof the Triangle.
